Anoush Tahini is manufactured using traditional
methods to achieve the highest quality product. We start off by using the best type of sesame straight from the Humeira region in Ethiopia. The seeds are peeled by steam instead of direct fire, and cooled slowly under strict quality standrards. Using a gentle water bath rather than machine arms to separate husk from seed is just one example of the innovative factory design that preserves the aroma and sweetness of the seed, making for an unmistakably traditional, homemade taste.
Finally, once more by stcking to traditon, we grind the sesame to produce the paste at low temperature
using stone mills.
